Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the Brand Ambassador role.

The role requires a high school diploma and either technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair, with proficiency in tools and repair methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates with tools.
• Hammer out dents and repair body damage; apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Weld/attach parts and repaint vehicles to spec; ensure work orders meet time guidelines.
