Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and speed. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding our brand promise of quality and customer excellence.

The role requires reading job orders, using a variety of tools, and collaborating with teammates to meet KPI targets. Training and safety standards are emphasized for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completed or a 3-year apprenticeship accepted.
• Ability to read job orders and follow repair instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed; realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
