Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, coordinating with the team to meet KPIs and deliver a standout customer experience.

You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles, ensuring workmanship aligns with company standards. Prior training or apprenticeship is preferred; safety and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and follow instructions.
• Thorough understanding of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents, apply fillers, and realign chassis and frames as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, interior parts, and paint vehicles to factory specs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with KPIs.
