Gerber Collision & Glass in Lake Charles, LA seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, realign chassis, replace parts, and finish with factory-mpecified paint, collaborating with a team to meet KPIs and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a tech program or apprenticeship, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Team-oriented with repair shop collaboration.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools to repair sections, realign chassis, and replace parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles as required.
• Ensure work orders meet labor guidelines and inspect finished work.
