Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repair, restoring pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold our brand promise.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Experience with auto body repair tools and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair.
• Hammer dents, apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, interiors as required.
• Weld and reattach parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
