Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as core commitments.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship, with strong tool skills and the ability to work with others in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with other repairers in shop.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates; use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers.
• Repair dents and body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged sections or glass.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect for quality.
