Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repair. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles while maintaining alignment with WOW standards and industry-leading KPIs.

You will work with a team to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, repair glass and interior parts, and ensure safety and workmanship meet company expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with attention to quality.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or approved equivalents.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines.
