Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform detailed vehicle repairs and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and finish vehicles to pre-accident condition while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to KPIs and embody the brand through every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Welds and attaches parts; preps and repaints vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
