Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer-excellence commitments.

You will work with team members to meet KPIs, use a range of tools, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to meet KPIs.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, and replace parts as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles to factory or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
