Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair work that restores vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align frames while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools, and ensuring work meets KPI targets. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to the WOW Operating Way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage; replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor-time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
