Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an outstanding customer experience by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign components, while supporting the team to meet performance KPIs.

You will use cutting tools, weld, repaint, and replace parts as needed, following safety practices. A high school diploma or equivalent plus technical training or apprenticeship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship.
• Able to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; weld and paint as required.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect work for quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
