The role requires reading job orders, teamwork with other technicians, and adherence to plan and quality standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and repair shop collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass/parts.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles per factory specs or best practice.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
