Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to precisely repair vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align frames, and replace parts while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and completing a technical program or apprenticeship. You will work with a collaborative team in a busy shop and uphold safety and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repairs in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles with attention to quality and timelines.
• Realign chassis and frames to restore structural integrity.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and restore finishes.
• Ensure all work meets safety and customer service standards.
