Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in customer service, administrative support, case processing, or a related field.
• Promotion to the next classification level is at the department's discretion, based on demonstrated skills and workload needs.
• Completion of all basic requirements with consideration for state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process applications for state assistance programs in compliance with policies.
• Verify applicant information including income, residency, and household composition.
• Maintain accurate case records to support eligibility decisions.
• Ensure timely processing and follow-up to gather required documentation.
• Assist in monitoring ongoing eligibility and renewals for program participants.
• Communicate clearly with applicants about eligibility and program benefits.
• Educate applicants on available resources and services.
