Job summary

Knowledge Services is seeking an Eligibility Specialist for the Indiana DFR programs such as TANF, SNAP, and Medicaid. You will assist in processing applications from Indiana residents, gathering data face-to-face or by phone, and ensuring documents meet state policies.

The role includes data entry into the state system, verifying income and assets, reviewing program requirements with clients, and using automated tools to determine eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or case management is preferred.
• Ability to verify information and document accurately.
• Ability to work with clients face-to-face or by phone.
• Familiarity with TANF, SNAP, Medicaid programs is a plus.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs with clients
• Verify information meets state policies
• Obtain release forms and medical records
• Verify income, assets, and other documents
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients
