Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for New Installation in San Diego, CA. You will lead pre-bid activities, generate territory leads, and present bids to customers while coordinating with architects, contractors, and owners to ensure profitable installations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 1–2 years of related sales experience, with preference for elevator industry knowledge and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1-2 years of related sales experience, elevator sales or industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint drawings preferred.
• Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bidding activity design and assist, presentations, learning and teaching workshops with design community.
• Responsible for territory lead generation while creating and maintaining market relationships to maintain a strong TKE presence.
• Understand TKE product lines with the ability to provide details to a design professional, architect, and property manager.
• Develop capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.
• Work with architects, general contractors, building managers and/or owners in the pre-bidding of new installation jobs.
• Create quoting and bidding packages by obtaining project plans/specs of proposed new construction.
• Review project schedules, existing conditions and consider site logistics.
• Present bids to customers and explain cost factors, emphasizing construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment.
• Conduct customer follow-up on all proposals.
• Partner with operations team to negotiate the Scope of Work, and collaborate with contract administrator, sales support and legal.
• Create submittal packages through the approval process and generate change orders.
• Visit project sites and ensure customer needs and deadlines are met.
• Utilize the CRM tool to update and manage sales pipeline.
• Assist in A/R collection efforts to ensure prompt payment.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
