Otis Elevator Co. in Las Vegas is seeking a New Equipment Sales Specialist to grow the local market by identifying project opportunities, building relationships, and delivering tailored elevator and escalator solutions.

You will manage the full sales process from opportunity to contract award, visit job sites, and develop proposals while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the elevator industry.
• Experience selling technical products or solutions that require customer consultation.
• Strong customer and service orientation with interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Target-focused with ability to work in a demanding, complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new elevator and escalator equipment sales opportunities, including bid opportunities and prospective projects.
• Prepare proposals, bid responses, and customer presentations, and negotiate agreements with prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Evaluate project requirements and recommend the best available solutions based on customer needs.
• Sell new equipment contracts at required price and margin levels to secure new unit agreements.
• Develop strong knowledge of elevator and escalator product lines and specialized architectural products to effectively consult with customers.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Visit job sites to assess the scope of prospective projects and monitor the status of current projects.
