Job summary

TK Elevator in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced Project Manager- Modernization to orchestrate the purchasing, scheduling and delivery of materials for modernization projects, ensuring timely, productive and cost-efficient results.

The role coordinates with customers, sales, and field teams; sets up new jobs and change orders; maintains project files and documentation; and guides inspections and approvals to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and the construction industry; knowledge of installation procedures.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new modernization jobs and change orders, and submits for processing.
• Sets up job submittal books for submittal to building owner and consultant.
• Maintains job file with data pertaining to the job; maintains database and records activity.
• Issues purchase orders and files into job books.
• Coordinates communication with customers on schedules and scope of work for modernization projects.
