Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager for New Installation/Modernization in Detroit, MI. You will drive project scope, schedule, budgeting, and stakeholder communication across multiple sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in elevator/construction, plus strong knowledge of elevator systems and installation practices. Travel up to 10% may be required; the team emphasizes collaboration with USFO and regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment and construction industry; installation procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and safety/maintenance manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of presenting to groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project management.
• Foster a culture of safety and administer safety programs.
• Coordinate programs to improve performance of a product line or project.
• Train Branch PMs and Superintendents for consistent performance.
• Manage costs, tracking, and reporting at project, branch and district levels.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against scope and budget.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
