Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Dallas is seeking a motivated Modernization Project Manager to lead multi-project modernization efforts. You will coordinate activities from award through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2+ years in elevator project management or construction, strong cost control and contract admin skills, and ability to read drawings. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder relations.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flawless execution of modernization projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to completion, ensuring alignment with project scope.
• Proactively communicate with cross-functional partners including sales, superintendents, and leadership.
• Manage billing, consultant and contractor payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret construction documents and modifications to determine associated costs and contingencies.
