TK Elevator in Ft. Lauderdale, FL seeks an experienced Superintendent- Modernization to lead elevator modernization projects and crews, ensuring timely, profitable completion.

The role emphasizes directing field teams, safety compliance, and customer-facing progress reviews. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a background in construction, and the ability to coordinate with owners, consultants, and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience.
• Ability to write reports, contracts and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from management and customers.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises modernization field employees with direction, training, and policy enforcement.
• Administers safety program including safety audits and safety emphasis.
• Plans and directs elevator modernization projects and manpower needs; uses scheduling tools.
• Reviews job status using accounting reports and materials to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manages jobsites from survey to completion and coordinates with customers on progress.
• Manages subcontractor schedule and performance on turnkey projects.
