Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in San Francisco is seeking a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple installation projects. You will ensure on-schedule, within-budget delivery while meeting all technical and safety standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include contract administration, cost estimating, scheduling, and analyzing drawings. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage payments to consultants and contractors, and communicate

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings
• Excellent communication skills for developing relationships with stakeholders
• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects
• Strong leadership and time-management abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred

• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion, ensuring alignment with scope and schedule
• Interpret construction documents and contract modifications to determine costs
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates
