Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Modernization in Raleigh, NC to lead modernization projects and crews, ensuring on-time, profitable completion while meeting budgets.

The role requires supervisory experience, safety program administration, and strong coordination with customers and subcontractors. A relevant Bachelor’s degree plus management experience are expected, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/management or related field.
• Two years experience managing a branch department or equivalent.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises modernization field employees; hires and manages performance.
• Administers safety program; conducts safety audits.
• Plans and directs modernization projects and manpower needs with scheduling tools.
• Reviews job status using accounting reports and identifies risks and opportunities.
• Manages worksites from survey to completion and coordinates with customers.
• Oversees subcontractor schedule and performance on turnkey projects.
• Maintains relationships with owners, consultants, and architects.
• Reviews change orders, purchases, and approvals; manages AR and write-offs.
• Keeps up-to-date with federal, state, and local codes.
