Schindler Group in Boise, Idaho seeks a Field Superintendent - Modernization to lead field technicians in elevator modernization projects. You will participate in field surveys, prepare modernization proposals, and deliver technical solutions while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires leadership experience, the ability to manage unions, strong problem solving, and excellent communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years of technical elevator/construction experience.
• Experience leading/supervising and training personnel.
• Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce is preferred.
• Solid problem solving and proven negotiating skills, high sense of urgency, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency; SAP and related tools experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build a team environment by leading field technicians.
• Manage training and development of field technicians on processes, tools and standards.
• Foster communication among team members and relations with the local union.
• Assure modernization projects meet quality and safety standards and contract requirements.
• Monitor job progress; drive efficiency; manage parts ordering and cost.
• Implement customer and company requirements for quality and safety in projects.
• Support local sales in estimating bids and addressing customer concerns.
• Develop teamwork and commitment to quality among all employees.
• Participate in company programs to enhance product knowledge and procedures.
