Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in classrooms with both churched and unchurched public school students. The role emphasizes biblical teaching, relationship building, and consistent communication with administrators and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and will complete LifeWise Teacher Certification and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the 'What We Believe' section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; prepare substitute materials as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; share updates and photos
