Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing relationships and guiding students in a redemptive classroom environment.

The role requires teaching with LifeWise curriculum, completing the certification course within 30 days, and attending Lifewise events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage classroom safety.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director as needed.
