Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is caring and perceptive.

Responsibilities include completing teacher certification, teaching LifeWise classes, building relationships with students, maintaining records, and promoting LifeWise values within the community.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and prior to teaching.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance records, health notes, and parent permissions as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador and promote LifeWise's mission in all duties.
