Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share gospel and biblical teaching with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is active in church and communicates well, caring for students and fostering a redemptive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include certification, lesson planning with LifeWise curriculum, student relationship-building, and maintaining records and schedules. Commitment to LifeWise beliefs is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church with beliefs aligned to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and families.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the provided curriculum and tailor as needed.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain classroom organization, attendance records and materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise staff about schedules and updates.
