Job summary

Holmes Elementary in Boston Public Schools seeks an Elementary & Special Education teacher with SEI endorsement to join a dynamic team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Massachusetts Elementary 1-6 license with Moderate Disabilities PK-8 and SEI Endorsement or ESL license.
• Meet all licensure requirements and be Highly Qualified.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Elementary General Curriculum in an inclusive setting with SEI learners.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals; report progress regularly.
• Offer accommodations and adapt curriculum to support MCAS Alternative assessment readiness.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs and modifications.

Education
