Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree and MA teaching license in Elementary 1-6.
  • Massachusetts license for Elementary 1-6 and Moderate Disabilities PK-8.
  • Meet state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Elementary General Curriculum in a setting inclusive of students with Special Needs and English Language Learners (SEI).
  • Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
  • Write and implement IEP goals and provide progress reports.
  • Provide accommodations and develop curriculum as needed; assess progress for MCAS Alternative Assessment.
  • Collaborate with staff to support student needs.
