Job summary

Alpha is hiring on-site elementary guides to coach K–3 students using app-based core literacy. You will diagnose gaps, tailor short sessions, and guide students through daily routines with data-driven targets.

Requirements include 3+ years with children 4–9, 2+ years teaching reading in K–3, and structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9.
• At least 2 years of that experience teaching reading in grades K-3, within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and diagnosing gaps.
• Running short structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Guiding students toward weekly app goals with leaderboards and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and closing to address frustration.
