Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time teacher to share Bible-based instruction with public school students using LifeWise curriculum. The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering engaging lessons, and modeling a caring Christian witness in and out of the classroom.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, active church involvement, and a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith; training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the provided curriculum and customize lessons.
• Build relationships with students and pray for their well-being.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; prepare substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and communicate with school partners and volunteers.
