Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms, combining Bible knowledge with engaging teaching.

Ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, committed to LifeWise's faith statements, and able to train, plan, and manage a classroom while building relationships with students and volunteers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and lesson planning
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise's mission
