Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher to bring Bible knowledge and engaging instruction to public school students. You will combine faith with pedagogy in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who cares for students and can apply LifeWise policies within a redemptive classroom. Training and collaboration with staff are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days and participate in annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the curriculum and customize as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and health notes for students.
• Create an organized, engaging classroom and build relationships with students.
