Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered LifeWise curriculum with public school students. You will train, teach, build relationships with students, and maintain classroom records while aligning with LifeWise beliefs.

The role emphasizes active church involvement, strong communication, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and tailor lesson plans.
• Invest in relationships with students and foster a redemptive classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance, class rosters, and materials for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and communicate with school personnel.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador, attend events and share LifeWise's mission.
