Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel with public school students while delivering LifeWise curriculum in a classroom setting.

The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to LifeWise’s Statement of Faith. Training, community engagement, and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans.
• Implement LifeWise curriculum in the classroom and engage students.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment and manage materials.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters; coordinate with program director and school staff.
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador within the community and school system.
