Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to combine in-depth Bible knowledge with engaging classroom instruction for public school students. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligning to LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and engaging methods.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, redemptive classroom environment and follow LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance, maintain rosters, and prepare info for substitutes.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise program director as needed.
