Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with publicly educated students using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is a practicing church member with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

Applicants should have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs, and active local church participation.

Qualifications

• At least two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lesson plans.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters, and materials for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
