Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students in a classroom setting. The candidate will combine Bible knowledge with strong teaching skills, building relationships and praying for students while upholding LifeWise policies.

Ideal applicants will be active church participants, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and obtain LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for their well-being.
• Maintain an organized, well‑ordered classroom and manage attendance records.
• Communicate with program director, school officials, and volunteers about schedules and updates.
