Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks an engaged Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share biblically grounded lessons with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. You will build relationships, encourage a redemptive classroom, and pray for students while implementing approved materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; provide information for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage materials and supplies.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and LifeWise program director; promote LifeWise religious mission.
