Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students using LifeWise materials. The ideal candidate will be an active church member with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster a redemptive classroom and build relationships with students.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training through LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; provide updates and photos as needed.
