Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share biblical teachings in a classroom setting with public school students. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing training, delivering LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, maintaining records and classroom discipline aligned with LifeWise policies,

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum with lesson planning and customization.
• Invest in relationships with students through prayer and engagement, maintaining a redemptive classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, health concerns, and parent permissions; prepare substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies within budgeted funds.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise's mission and values.
