Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share Bible knowledge and the gospel within public school classrooms. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who cares for students, churched or unchurched, and can teach children effectively.

The role includes completing training, delivering LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, maintaining attendance and class records, keeping an organized

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and participate in the annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance, health notes, and rosters and prepare substitute information.
• Maintain an organized, safe classroom and adhere to LifeWise policies.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise program director; engage volunteers and community events.
