Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel and provide Christ-centered instruction in a classroom setting for public school students. Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy statements.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationship-building and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom with redemptive discipline.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters and health/permission records.
• Provide materials for substitutes and keep classroom supplies stocked.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director regularly.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
