Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, be an active church participant, and hold a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities include training, teaching LifeWise classes, relationship-building with students, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer, maintain an organized classroom.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, including health concerns and parent permissions.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and with school personnel.
• Submit regular updates and promote LifeWise's religious mission in duties and interactions.
