Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in classroom settings with both churched and unchurched students. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, lesson planning, building relationships with students, and maintaining a positive classroom environment while promoting LifeWise's mission to the school

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with What We Believe.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using curriculum and map out customization.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging and redemptive classroom environment.
• Take attendance and maintain rosters and permissions as noted on slips.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and manage supplies.
• Communicate with school personnel and promote LifeWise's mission.
