Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher in Ohio to share the gospel in public–school classrooms with an emphasis on caring relationships and strong communication. The ideal candidate actively participates in a local church and upholds the academy’s Statement of Faith as they implement the LifeWise curriculum and build meaningful connections with students and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and engage students.
• Maintain attendance, class rosters and health or permission details as needed.
• Keep the classroom organized, safe, and conducive to a redemptive learning environment.
• Communicate with the program director, school personnel and volunteers regularly.
