Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking an Aftercare Aide to supervise elementary students in the school's aftercare program. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment, supervise activities, and support homework and quiet time while upholding Catholic values.

You will collaborate with the Aftercare Coordinator and staff to ensure a organized, positive aftercare experience for students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Patience and attentive supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision of elementary students throughout the aftercare program.
• Maintain a safe, caring environment aligned with Catholic school values.
• Assist students with homework, reading, and quiet activities as needed.
• Lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and enrichment activities.
• Supervise snack time and transitions, including arrival and dismissal.
