Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Electronics Technician III to perform advanced duties including teardown analysis, repair, and RCCA on electronic drives. You will coordinate with quality and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.

The role requires onsite work, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to one week for field assignments. A minimum of three years in electronics is expected, with an associate degree preferred.

Strong technical background to troubleshoot systems, machinery, test equipment.
Requires judgment to plan, perform, and decide failure modes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with QE and ME to implement corrective/preventive actions.
Perform Oracle functions – look up BOM.
Enter RMA data in Matrix and analyze.

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

SUMMARY

The Electronics Technician III can perform all operations duties listed on the Electronics Technician I and Electronics Technician II descriptions. In addition, the Electronics Technician III performs the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete first level analysis and tear-down inspections on returned electronic drives, meeting the customer’s required timeline.
Repair or refurbish electronic drives if required.
Troubleshoot and determine root cause/corrective action (RCCA).
Work with QE and ME to implement desired corrective/preventive actions.
Perform functions in Oracle – look up BOM.
Perform functions in Matrix – Enter RMA data and analysis.
Correlate data, update daily and weekly RMA metrics.
Position may require field service travel for up to one-week per visit.
Apply knowledge from field returns to post pack audit process.

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronics or a related field is required.

Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.

Strong technical background is required to troubleshoot systems, machinery, test equipment.

Use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the failure mode of the product.

Requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Must have effective communication and computer skills.

Must be able to communicate with a customer verbally and in writing.

Must be self-directed and able to work well in a team environment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently needs to stand, walk, and sit.

Occasionally, the employee must climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Onsite: This role follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a full-time basis.

Expected Base Salary Range

$54,600-$80,204

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors. This role may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and business needs.
