Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled Welder for an onsite role that covers setup and welding across a range of metals, requiring careful alignment to blueprint specs. You will Mig weld to blueprint specs, perform Tig/Arc/Stud welds, and ensure proper machine setup and finish squareness.

Responsibilities include interpreting work orders and drawings, inspecting welds for defects, and maintaining equipment. No overnight travel; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience; or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups effectively.
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

  • Accuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, and component counts.
  • Setup weldments per blueprint specifications.
  • Mig weld to blueprint specifications.
  • Tig, Arc, Stud weld and torch usage as needed.
  • Set up welding machines for proper penetration.
  • Clean welds and inspect for imperfections.
  • Ensure proper finish squareness and interpretation of work orders.
  • Other duties as required.

Work Model

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

The Welder is responsible for performing setup on all entry level welding components that range from similar to dissimilar metals and alloys requiring a high degree of skill and welding technique or involving a considerable number of parts and/or smaller more complicated weldments where alignment, dimensions and weld quality must conform to strict quality standards.

Major Responsibilities

Accuracy with alignment, dimensions, materials, number of components, correct corresponding machine order and general inspection requirements.

Setup weldments per blueprint specifications.

Mig weld to blueprint specifications.

Tig, Arc, Stud weld and utilization of a torch.

Properly setup welding machines to obtain proper welding penetration.

Clean welds to check for imperfections.

Ensure proper finish squareness.

Interpretation of work orders, blueprints and bills of material.

Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Travel

No overnight travel required.
